The location was perfect for exploring Chur, just a walk away from the old town. Breakfast was excellent, especially the made-to-order eggs that delighted every morning.

A slight challenge with room access turned a bit tense when we had to wait for assistance. While the staff was generally helpful, communication could be improved.

Room was spacious & well decorated.It had all for a nice stay.

Smoking was allowed which meant we could not use the bar.It looked lively but was full of smoke.

Friendly staff, excellent breakfast (including bacon), short walk from train station and other downtown sites in Chur, room for four was comfortable and recently remodeled

Rather noisy in the neighborhood but it's a tradeoff for the location

Great breakfast spread with a variety of hot and cold options, including tasty eggs cooked to order. Central location makes exploring the old town easy and convenient, with plenty of charm to enjoy.

Rooms are quite basic, lacking in-room amenities like tea, coffee, or a kettle. Only warm tap water was available for drinking.

The breakfast is very good with champagne and also cooked eggs, there's an option for each taste. The rooms are particularly good and beautiful with great bathroom, everything is perfect. The location is great in shops, we were walking distance to a supermarket and stores.

The location was great, walking distance to restaurants and bars. Twin room with very modern stylish bathroom, had essentials required.

A nice hotel in the centre of this historic old town.

We arrived on a Sunday and struggled to find a restaurant open to have dinner. The bar in the hotel and most places closed very early. The hotel locked its doors at 10pm. It was quite expensive especially due to the weak pound.

Hotel Ambiente Freieck was a reasonable hotel, but we arrived late and left early the next day to catch the Bernina Express train so can't really comment too much. It was clean & the staff were friendly and helpful.

It was a liitle further from the train station than we thought - walkable, but with luggage and children a bit hard. Was easy getting a taxi in the morning though for our early start!

Charming atmosphere with excellent breakfast options.

The spacious room with a mountain view really exceeded my expectations. I loved the variety and quality at breakfast, especially the made-to-order eggs!

The family room was 2 single beds pushed to d ends of another 2 single beds!! There was not even room to walk around. Had one small window, no kettle or glasses.

Tranquility and cleanliness of surrounding area

We only stayed the night, but found the hotel comfortable. The location is central and the town pretty. It is surrounded by mountains and there are wonderful train trips to be had.

We booked queen room that was complete with nice views, bath and shower plus the red bathroom as advertised.
